Our calculators produce estimates based on typical outcomes and published state formulas. These estimates are starting points for planning, not predictions of what a court will order. Actual costs vary based on your specific circumstances, your attorney, opposing counsel, and the presiding judge.

DivorceCostEstimator.com is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal services. If you opt in, we connect you with independent, licensed family law attorneys and law firms (or attorney-referral networks) who may contact you about your case. We do not choose your attorney for you, do not guarantee that any attorney will contact you or accept your case, and are not responsible for the services, advice, fees, or conduct of any attorney you connect with. Any attorney-client relationship is solely between you and the attorney you choose to engage.

We may be compensated by attorneys, law firms, or attorney-referral networks when we connect you with them. Opting in is free and entirely optional, and your estimate is the same whether or not you opt in.

Consent to Contact

If you opt in and provide your contact information, you authorize the attorneys, law firms, and referral networks we connect you with (and their representatives) to contact you about your case by phone, text message, and email at the number and address you provide, including by automated or prerecorded means. Message and data rates may apply.
